FormulationLyophilized in sterile filtered solution of PBS, pH7.4, 10% trehalose (stabilizer)
ReconstitutionBefore reconstitution, werecommend a brief spin to drive down any material dislodged from the bottom ofthe tube. The lyophilized protein shouldbe reconstituted in sterile H2O. Further dilutions should be made in buffer or medium containing carrierproteins, such as albumin or serum.
StabilityThe lyophilized protein isstable for at least 1 year if stored at -80 °C. Reconstituted protein is stable for at least 1 month at 4 °C, but shouldbe stored in aliquots at -80 °C for longer term. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw.

Noggin has been shown to be ahigh-affinity binding protein to BMP and antagonizes BMP bio-activities. It can be added to cell culture medium forembryonic stem cells to maintain pluripotency.The recombinant human Noggin comprises 216 aminoacids after removal of the signal peptide and has a predicted molecular mass of24.6 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, itmigrates as an approximately 30 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditionsStemRD"s Noggin ismade in human 293 cells, which renders human-specific post-translationalmodifications. We purified this product through a series ofchromatography.
